Snickerdoodles

I don't have a big sweet tooth, but my husband definitely does. Luckily for him, I love to bake. Works out well...

These cookies are so incredibly easy to make and are very good. And, they're so pretty!

Snickerdoodles

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 stick of butter (or margarine), room temperature
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs

Preheat oven to 350˚F. In a medium bowl, combine flour, tartar, baking soda, and salt together and set aside. In another bowl, beat together the butter and the sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, making sure to mix well between eggs. Stir in flour mixture until well blended and smooth. In another bowl, combine another 1/4 cup sugar and 3 tsp. ground cinnamon, mixing well. Shape dough in 1 inch balls between palms. Roll each ball in sugar/cinnamon mixture and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until tops are brown and cracks look slightly undercooked. Allow cookies to cool before transferring from cookie sheet.

Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.
